Camp War Eagle Counselors

CAMP WAR EAGLE

Freshmen Orientation Counselor

Camp War Eagle provides an experience to promote the academic, social and personal success of incoming freshmen students. As a camp counselor, I spent the summer helping over 130 students adjust to college life. I had the opportunity to serve as a resource for new freshmen and their guests and to learn about the university and develop many skills to equip me personally and professionally.

AUBURN UNIVERSITY PANHELLENIC SORORITY

Membership Assistant and Public Relations Assistant

Being involved in my sorority gave me the opportunity to serve our organization and help it prosper and continue excellence within the chapter. As membership assistant, my role required proactive and efficient responsibilities. My job was to execute plans for the week of fall sorority recruitment, help conduct workshops, and complete as-needed tasks. As public relations assistant, my responsibilities included assisting with internal communication for our chapter, updating our website, posting on social media accounts, and capturing moments at sisterhood events.

MISSIONS

Christian Light Ministry | Port au Prince, Haiti

In June of 2016, I joined Auburn United Methodist Church to travel to Christian Light School in Port au Prince, Haiti. I had the opportunity to help impact the lives of the students and the people of the village. Our mission was to help make a difference in the people we came into contact with mentally, physically, and spiritually.

THE BIG EVENT

Project Coordinator

The BIG Event at Auburn University is a student-run volunteer day which encourages college students and faculty to thank the community for providing a thriving environment to live and learn. The mission of the project is to make a tangible difference in Auburn and the surrounding communities. As a project coordinator, I was assigned job sites that I was in charge of overseeing for the day of the project. My responsibilities included visiting the homeowners of the job site, assisting the volunteers, and ensuring that each job site ran smoothly.
